We are a feature film production company, operating from our offices in Torquay, Devon. Devon Films is owned and run by George Bamby, a local film producer with years of experience in the documentary, drama and feature films industry.
After completing his latest feature film starring Ricky Tomlinson amongst others, entitled 'Stepdad', which has gone on to secure a world wide distribution deal and is entered into this year Cannes Film Festival. George has decided that what better place in the world to make a feature film than on your very own doorstep – "The English Riviera".
George has teamed up with veteran writer and acclaimed comedian ‘Archie Kelly’ (Star of Peter Kay’s Phoenix Knights as Kenny Senior) to write 'Snappers' which is being filmed exclusively in and around Torbay this May/June.
'Snappers' is a very funny and original feature film that has signed up many top UK stars.
We are enlisting local talent behind the camera’s, using local artiste’s for supporting roles and local individuals to take part in the film as extra’s.
